HELEN LEVI East Village native Helen Levi is a photographer who, after a chance encounter with Steven Alan, has focused her energies on another talent: ceramics. She loves the uniqueness of each thing that is made by hand. Helen strives to retain memories of her childhood influence in her work like her fruit necklaces, which are inspired by miniature foods that she and her sister would make out of Sculpey for their dollhouses.
